Dayton trying to hide!!
This is Dayton's new backpack!! He picked it out and is so excited because it is CAMO, and so was his first day outfit!!
This is the new school. This is Locust Grove Academy where he goes from 745-about 1115. This is the GA Pre-K, he would go here all day but goes to his other school in the afternoon for speech. His teacher here is Tamu Broderick and his para is Mrs Melody. He loves going, they are going to do a field trip once a month, this month it is to the library. He will get to stay here all day those days, so he doesn't have to miss out on the trips. I think next month is Zoo Atlanta, and they are trying to get the Aquarium too. He is really excited about the field trips. He has 20 kids in his class. He gets to have breakfast here every morning. He is REALLY liking that too, Mrs. Tamu says they don't have to ask him to try anything, he does it on his own. YAYAYA!! He would get lunch and a snack too, but he leaves before that.
In the back of this picture is his playground! He wanted a picture of it. There is a basketball hoop that he loves. It is a REAL hoop he says just down for the kids his size.
His school bus picks him up about 1115 and takes him to Unity Grove Elementary where he went in the spring. He REALLY loves it there, especially Mrs. Amy. She is the same teacher he had in the spring, along with Mrs. Laura, and Mrs. Lynn and Mrs. Misty are his para's. He has lunch here and does normal school things. In class this year they have 2 dwarf hamsters named Bo and Luke after the Duke Boys, we all know how much he LOVES the Duke Boys!! He also has the same bus driver as the spring. So that makes a world of difference to him. I will get pictures of the school and teachers at UGE when Cohen starts in September. He will have the same teacher as Dayton but in the morning.
As Dayton says "Mommy I LOVE school!!"
